RCD Espanyol de Barcelona, commonly known as Espanyol, is a professional football club based in Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 1900, Espanyol has a rich history and is one of the oldest clubs in Spain. The club competed in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football, for the majority of their existence.
‘Los Deportes’ publish the first news story about the club’s foundation, as Sociedad Española de Foot-Ball. In 1901 they are renamed Club Español de Foot-Ball
The club was successful from the very beginning, winning the first Campionat de Catalunya in 1903 and subsequently playing in the first Copa del Rey in 1903.

We have now opened for younger boys and girls up to 5 years old to be able to train with us in RCD Espanyol de Barcelona Academy Tripoli.
Throughout school breaks, the Espanyol academy arranges football camps catering to children and young individuals passionate about the sport.
